Steps for a registration in the first year of thesis

2 cases :

  • Case 1: You obtained a doctoral contract during the competition organized by the EDCSV. You can then register for the first year.
  • Case 2: You did not go through the competition organized by the EDCSV. You have alreay submitted your application file (see page "Applications") and your application has been accepted by the Doctoral School.  You can then register for the first year.

CASE 1: You have obtained a doctoral contract during the competition organised by the EDCSV

Step 1: Prepare your file on the ADUM

Enter your "Convention individuelle de formation" (training agreement) by clicking here
Send by e-mail to EDCSV at least 15 days before the beginning of your contract :
  • the training agreement and the thesis charter.
  • A copy of the certificate of completion or diploma allowing entry into thesis (+ your M1 + M2 transcripts if you have not already sent them).

Second step: Administrative registration to the schooling service
Once these documents have been sent to EDCSV, you will receive a message from the UGA tuition service, inviting you to make an appointment for your registration, payment of university fees and collection of your student card (Maison du doctorat, 110 rue de la Chimie,  Domaine Universitaire de St martin D'hères).

CASE 2: Your application has been accepted by the EDCSV.

First step: complete your training agreement by clicking here

  • Help for entering the Individual Training Agreement
  • Print the "convention de formation", and  "charte des thèses"
  • Sign and have the convention and chartes signed by your thesis director and laboratory director.
  • Send the following documents by e-mail to the EDCSV  at the latest 15 days before the start date of your employment contract :
    • The training agreement signed (convention de formation)
    • The charter of the doctorate (charte du doctorat)

Second step: Administrative registration to the schooling service

Once these documents have been sent to EDCSV, you will receive a message from the UGA tuition service, inviting you to make an appointment for your registration, payment of university fees and collection of your student card (Maison du Doctoratrue de la chimie, Domaine Universitaire de St martin D'hères).

Special Cases

Cotutelle: If you are preparing a thesis in co-supervision with a foreign country, you must, from the beginning of your thesis, set up a cotutelle agreement. More information on the following link.
